Can you think of any well-known bald Hollywood movie stars that
have appeared in films with hair? Have you ever been amazed
at how incredible their hair looks? Now you can enjoy these
same remarkable results.
Hollywood's
best kept secret
In
the early days of Hollywood, famed make-up artist Perc Westmore
invented a lace hair replacement system while working for
Max Factor. So extraordinary was this system that Max Factor
was granted United States Patent #1845380. The materials used
to make this remarkable hair system have been refined over
the years and are widely used today by many of Hollywood's leading male actors, both on screen and in their personal
lives.
This
innovative and undetectable system was once the reserve of
the rich and famous, but together with our industry partners,
myhairdirect have developed a product comparable in
quality to that found on multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbuster
sets.
A
disappearing act
The
Invisible is our lightest and most breathable NSR
system, making it the most comfortable system in our range.
It is also our most undetectable system by touch. The Invisible
is constructed using an extremely delicate, flesh toned lace.
Placed against the skin the lace becomes invisible rendering
an extremely natural hairline and scalp appearance.

Unlike
many other hair replacement systems, the lace is so fine and
coloured like your natural skin, it allows you to expose the
hairline and create any hair style you desire, including hair
styled straight back.
There
are, however, some drawbacks to the lace system. In particular,
there is a trade-off between durability and undetectability.
The Invisible is more delicate than our other NSR
systems, so they require replacement more frequently, typically
anywhere from every 3-4 months. This depends on how active
your lifestyle is and whether you use a permanent or daily
bonding method (you can find more information on 'bonding'
in MyTraining).

Maintenance
Maintenance
is slightly more is difficult with a lace system, as a result
of the nature of the delicate lace material. If you are using
adhesives and tape directly on the lace, we recommend that
you remove the system for cleaning every 7-14 days to preserve
the life and appearance of the system. If your system has
a PU Band incorporated (see custom options below), you can
extend the maintenance intervals to last between 3-4 weeks.
