Full Bonding (Second Skin™ and Gel Flex™ ONLY)

This method involves covering the entire hair loss area with adhesive for maximum security and comfort.

Before Starting:

Make sure both surfaces to be bonded (scalp and system) are clean, dry and free of ALL grease and oil. Remove any stubble from the area of scalp to be bonded.

When finished, you should avoid washing hair for 24 hours.

Items Required:

• Scalp Protector
• Ultra Hold or Mity-Tite
• Application Brush

Instructions

NB: These instructions apply to systems without lace fronts. If your system incorporates a lace front, please refer to the Lace Front Bonding.

1. Apply a thin layer of Scalp Protector over the entire scalp. Allow to dry for 3-5 minutes.
2. Using your application brush, apply a thin layer of adhesive to the entire scalp and underside of the system. IMPORTANT: If you are using The Invisible™, apply the adhesive to the scalp ONLY.
3. Allow each surface to dry separately for 3-5 minutes.
4. Join both surfaces together by positioning the front of the system in place and then roll the system back over the scalp.
5. Press firmly together and leave to dry in place for 5 minutes before styling.

Tips

1. For best results, keep the system dry and perspiration free for 24 hours.
2. Applying two coats of adhesive will further strengthen the bond.
3. Although each surface must be left to dry for 3-5 minutes, a hair dryer can be used to speed up the adhesive curing time.
