The second element of the myhairdirect™ do-it-yourself program is removal. In this tutorial we will teach you how to remove the system from your scalp.

How to remove your system:

Daily Wear Tape Bond (Second Skin™ and Gel Flex™ ONLY)

Items Required:

• C22 Citrus Remover

Instructions

1. Slide a finger under the system between the gaps in the tape and attempt the pull the tape away from the scalp. If this is difficult because the bond is too strong, spray some C22 onto the tape and leave it to soak in for 1 minute. After the time has elapsed, remove the system from your scalp.

Items Required:

• Lace Release

Instructions

1. Dab or spray Lace Release through the hair in the area you wish to remove.
2. Wait for a couple of minutes, then gently lift the lace away from the scalp. The tape is released from the lace.

Extended Wear (Second Skin™ and Gel Flex™ ONLY)

Items Required:

• C22 Citrus Remover

Instructions

1. Peel off the system, starting from the back. If the bond is still too strong, spray a small amount of C22 onto the system and scalp as you peel the system off.

Items Required:

• Lace Release

Instructions

1. Dab or spray Lace Release through the hair in the area you wish to remove.
2. Wait for a couple of minutes, then gently lift the lace away from the scalp. The adhesive residue is released from the lace.
